Bonnie Gayle MorrillBorn and raised in Massachusetts, Morrill began her art instruction when she was eleven years old at the Interlaken School of Art in Berkshire County. Following her advanced placement art classes in high school, she continued her education in Connecticut at the Hartford Art School. While in college, Morrill developed her passion for portraits and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration in 2003.

Immediately following college, Morrill jumped head first into the competitive illustration field drawing the iconic “hedcuts” for The Wall Street Journal. Besides seeing her work printed in the paper everyday, she has been commissioned to paint and draw countless portraits for both private and corporate collections. While her commercial work is continuously in high demand, her fine art work has been shown in several galleries, including the Norman Rockwell Museum. She currently resides in Newington, CT. with her husband, Alex.
